PARENT TEACHER LEAGUE
Objective
To encourage the CCS teaching staff, student body, and school families by implementing programs and activities which support the educational and spiritual goals and philosophy of CCS.
Responsibilities
- To recruit room mothers who will commit themselves to carrying out the function of this classroom position.
- To support CCS teachers through the annual Teachers' Appreciation Week in May.
- To support CCS students through such activities as Special Hot Lunches and the annual school picnic.
- To present monthly/annual reports to the CCS administrator.
- To positively promote the school in the community.
- To meet with parents for planning, organization and fellowship.
- To promote extensive parental involvement.
- To operate yearly under the guidance of a chairperson (s) selected by the CCS administrator.
- To pray for the spiritual and physical needs of the CCS staff, students and families.

- Having a commitment to Christian Education
- Having good organizational and managerial skills
- Having the ability to earn the confidence of others
- Displaying Christian character and integrity
- Having the capacity to be an innovator
- Having the ability to market school concepts and needs
Accountability
- The chairperson of the Parent Teacher League Group is directly responsible to the school administrator who is responsible to the school board.
- The chairperson of the committee will meet quarterly with the school administrator for a review of operations and activities.
The chairperson will report to the administrator detailing Parent Teacher League meetings and activities. The administrator will bring pertinent parts of that report to the regular meeting with the school board.
