A.D.O.R.E. is a comprehensive program using teachers trained in educational intervention and remedial programs such as Orton-Gillingham (http://www.orton-gillingham.com/) and Lindamood Bell (http://www.lindamoodbell.com/) to stimulate and strengthen areas of weaknesses in perception and cognition.

 

Students with average to superior intelligence who have specific deficits in perception and cognition are candidates for this program. These students may be experiencing problems with spelling, illegible handwriting, inability to express thoughts verbally or in writing or difficulty with reading or math. The end goal of educational intervention is to help the student develop independence and responsibility in the classroom and in life.
