MISSIONS WEEK
Students observe the last week of October emphasizing various missions challenges. Various special assemblies will be planned by the staff as well as individual classroom activities.
Objectives:
To challenge non-Christian students to receive salvation
To challenge Christian students to deeper levels of commitment and to possible leadings from the Lord into missions
To address pressing social and moral concerns in our country and the world
To expose students to outstanding Christian missionaries and models
To provide opportunities for students to be self-giving as they participate in missionary offerings and needs
To provide an opportunity for students to gain deeper insight and practical helps in winning souls to Jesus Christ
To develop rapport between students, faculty and staff, administration and other adult leaders
To develop cooperation between and within classes
To deepen students' sense of corporate and individual worship
To challenge students in heeding Scriptural mandates to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ
