School Board

Covenant Christian School operates as an independent school governed by board members who possess a heart for Christian education. They also have experience in the areas of business, education, and/or the pastorate. The board follows a Carver Model of governance. (http://www.carvergovernance.com/model.htm)

Board President:  Huntley Brown      Musician and Pastor (www.huntleybrown.org)

 

Daniel Coleman: Vice-President    Pilot employed with the FAA.

 

Dan and one of his grandchildren whose father attended CCS.

Bill Koss:  Director of sales and marketing at Barnes Group Inc. MS Business Administration from Central Michigan University

Bill previously served as board member for CCS 2002-2005. His three sons attended CCS.

Sharron Mayes:  Board Secretary      Educator and owner of a Christian day care

Lynne Reeder:  Board Treasurer        Past corporate associations and currently operates own business in technology
