Meet The Staff

Mrs. Nina Bissett, Principal

Years in present position: 24

Degrees Held: B.A. Elementary Education, M.A. Administration, EdD in Higher Education (click here for dissertation)

Experience: 7 years CCS teacher (1st, 2nd, 6th, Jr. High math, High School English), 24 years as principal, and an A.D.O.R.E. Educational Interventionist.

Mrs. Bissett accepted Jesus into her life at the age of eight. She was baptized a year later. After attending Indiana State University for one year, God opened the door to attend and graduate from David Lipscomb University, a Christian college in Nashville, Tennessee. After teaching in public schools for several years, she "retired" to start a family. When her oldest son began kindergarten, she quickly began to see that changes had been occurring in the public sector of education. This realization led to the investigation of  "Christian" schools. God opened the door for her to teach in the same school where her children were attending. Through several years of classroom teaching and administrative leadership, she has developed a deeper sense of appreciation for the effectiveness of an educational system that centers around the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the eternal truths of God's Word.
