FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN
CCS students, teachers, and parents volunteered in this compassionate project on behalf of other children throughout the world. They packed 22,464 meals to feed 62 kids for an entire year! Check out the FMSC website http://www.fmsc.org/Page.aspx?pid=361
The reason Covenant Christian School exists is to"proclaim Him, teaching, and admonishing every man with all wisdom that we may present every man complete in Christ." (Colossians 1:28). Our school verse is Hebrews 12:2...fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith." (NIV) Covenant Christian School integrates God and His Word into every aspect of education. Each classroom teacher has a devotional time along with prayer and praise each morning. The students also study Christian character qualities and follow Bible-based curriculum. The teachers are free to share about God's creation in science, art and music, His perfect plan in history, and the logic and order of math.
An All Souls Missionary Week is held in November, which highlights unreached people groups in the world. In the past we have also focused on the persecuted church.
Special Chapels are held to inspire and encourage our students. These chapels include drama, mime, music and missionaries. Special guests such as our local "granny" and Corrie Ten Boom have also participated.
Days of Repentance are held during the year also, along with "See You at the Pole" in September and the National Day of Prayer in May.
